Falling Leaves
One by one they come
Some dancing
Some spiraling
Some like a jettison
Others, a reluctant skydiver
Attempting to defy their plight
They all fall
into the loving embrace
of the holy Mother Earth
To rest
And wither
And return home.
And the bright new souls
They come too
Some leading a charge
Some reluctant, but willing
Some oblivious
And others game for an adventure
They all come
into the welcoming embrace
of holy Mother Earth
To Love
And grow
And lead
And blossom
And finally, make their way home.
